Sudden Illness overtakes the family by surprise. Affairs are often unsettled and additional medical expenses complicate the loss of a loved one. Often families have prayed for healing and are left feeling confused and abandoned by God. When poor health practices contribute to an early death blame and anger can be placed on the loved one. In other circumstances, surviving family members may feel guilt for not ‘doing more’ to save their loved one. How do we best overcome these feelings of anger, blame and guilt?
