Accident & Negligence
Accidental deaths are sudden and affairs are often unsettled. Blame towards the person or persons responsible for the accident can impede healing. Often that blame is directed towards that deceased loved one and their choices that contributed to the accident.
When we loose someone due to the another person’s poor choices, we can be filled with anger. Loss and grief are intensified by those emotions and our desire to blame blocks us from the peace that can come from forgiveness. Forgiveness takes time, but it is the only way to find healing. Forgiveness not only frees us, but those who suffer from the guilt of their actions.
Forgiveness and the power of Jesus Christ enable a man to survive losing his wife and several children in a car accident—and allow the offending driver to begin rebuilding his own life.
