Gratitude & A Positive Attitude
A grateful attitude allows us to change our perspective and can help us find joy and purpose in life. Gratitude opens our heart to love and helps us to share it with others. as we choose positive thoughts and perspectives we will banish selfishness, darkness and despair in our lives.
Being grateful in times of distress does not mean that we are pleased with our circumstances. It does mean that through the eyes of faith we look beyond our present-day challenges.

Jess Berry tells how grateful she is for her supportive family and friends as she lives an active life and endures living with cerebral palsy. We have the power to use our agency to make our lives forces for good. Sometimes that means that we need to open up and let others help us, or perhaps we need share our experiences in order to help strengthen others. No matter what situation we are in, we can choose to turn outward, and in so doing we can turn to Him in faith and gratitude for the blessing we do have in our lives.
