Trusting God

God has a plan to help us reach our true potential. His plan is comprehensive and takes into account many things that we cannot now see. We have to trust Him to lead us when the fog is too thick. God always keeps His promises. He may not give us everything we want, but He always gives us what we need in the end. Trust requires us to wait to understand how difficulties are helping us. Trust requires us to be flexible and accepting of new plans and opportunities that are placed before us.

Trust the Engineer
When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don’t throw away the ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the engineer.
Corrie Ten Boom

The Edge of Difficulty
When God pushes you to the edge of difficulty, trust Him fully because two things can happen… either He’ll catch you when you fall or He will teach you how to fly

Chris

My wife was killed in a tragic accident, and I questioned God’s plan for me.

Why would He take my wife when I was supposed trying to live my life right? The moment I decided to trust Him, the anger and anxiety went away, and I’ve grown because of my trial. Had I decided not to trust, I’m pretty sure I would have ended up on the streets as a drunk or taken my own life. Hell is what we put ourselves through when we choose not to completely trust Heavenly Father, and there is great peace if you choose to completely trust.
