A Letter to our Readers
A pathway through grief…
We all find ourselves wishing for an easy way out of grief. Unfortunately, there is no quick fix or easy way out. The only way to get to the other side of grief is to go through it.
Although we have each individually come from different backgrounds and circumstances, the four of us have forged similar paths to healing. What we offer is a comprehensive tried and true path. These are the things that have worked for us and have accelerated our healing.
It is a path of faith and action requiring effort and work on your part. We can promise that with that work you will discover peace, acceptance and direction. Most importantly we hope that you will feel love… love from your fellow travelers, love from us, and love from God. We want you to know that you are not alone.
Everyone comes to this point with different experiences and circumstances and each person will have their own unique timetable. Be patient with yourself and do not judge your progress based on others, but work to move steadily forward. At times you will experience setbacks. This is part of the process, so please don’t be discouraged.
As part of your healing we encourage you to record your journey as we have. If you do this, you will begin to see encouraging patterns of growth over time. That progress will give you courage to keep moving forward.

Where to Start
We invite you to join our grief support groups and participate in our interactive approach to help you in dealing with grief and loss, actively healing, and moving forward.
We are each responsible for our own learning and growth. As we seek knowledge and act upon it, we will gain the ability to comprehend and apply additional principles. Learning and growth are processes that occur ‘line upon line’ over time.
We don’t want you to become overwhelmed or discouraged. Start where you are and be patient with yourself, but do a little every day.
Faithful consistency will yield results.
Check out our self assessment to help you determine where to begin.
Learn more about where you are and areas that you can focus on that will help you cope, come to greater understanding, and feel peace as you move forward. You can follow our recommended order, or you can read through the subheadings and determine which areas you feel will be the most helpful to you. You control your own learning.
Below is the recommended sequence for badges; however, you are free to skip around and focus on the areas that are of greatest concern to you and your family.
